IT IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU TO BE HAPPY
DO YOU FEEL SAD NEARLY ALL THE TIME?
Christianity all over the world seems to be synonymous with poverty, shame, sorrow and hurt. In fact, I remember thinking it was sinful to have fun as a child. All the fun things in the world seemed to be made for only sinners. Now that's totally untrue!!
Good morning this Monday morning. Hope you had a fabulous weekend? Did you have fun? Did you give yourself a nice treat? Are you happy to be at work or school this morning?
If you have less than three Yes' to the above questions, you need to stop and check yourself. What on earth is wrong with you?
On a scale of 1 to 10 how much are you pleased with yourself? Do you feel excited, motivated, accomplished....?
Hey! You can't afford to start the week unhappy!
You may not have everything yet but you sure have something someone lacks even if its a set of teeth. You are most likely reading this article with your own eyes or listening to someone read with your ears.
CHEER UP My friend!!

You are alive! You have hope! You are the child of the most High God!
Whoever said God is pleased with His kids being unhappy is a LIAR! That guy is a DEVIL!
The bible says the JOY of the LORD is your STRENGTH!(Nehemiah 8:10)

Now that means you receive strength from REJOICING in God.
We also have an instruction which says "In EVERYTHING give THANKS...This is the will of God...."(IThessalonians 5:18)

You can't give thanks when you are sad. If you try to, you will only be doing lip service.
Some guys ask a foolish question. They say "If God is good, why does evil happen".
My response is Did God design evil to happen to us?
Sin brought sorrow and pain since the time Adam and Eve sinned. Sin is a cancerous cell. It multiplies fast and kills the host.
All that we suffer is as a result of our sin or another's.
The moment you choose to be happy, half your burdens are rolled away. A songwriter says "Count Your Blessings", it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
I challenge you today, determine to smile no matter what you are going through.
Determine to be happy.
Choose to give thanks.
